Strong Insurance Services — Logo System

A vector rebuild of the current mark plus three fresh directions. Built from the Cumberland Plateau: stone, timber, and the strength of an independent, family-run Erie agency that answers the phone.

Independent agency · est. 2002 · Crossville & Celina, TN “We want to be your insurance friend.” Proud Erie Insurance Agent

Brand Direction

A navy-and-stone identity for an independent, family-run Erie agency rooted on the Cumberland Plateau — built to feel like a trusted neighbor who answers the phone, drawing on plateau fieldstone, timber warmth, and Erie's strength.

Built specifically NOT to read as a faceless 1-800 insurtech: no app-bro gradients, no generic blue swoosh-shield, no “cheapest-click” energy.

0 · Vector Rebuild of the Current Mark

The existing wordmark, faithfully reconstructed as clean vector — same serif-italic spirit, now razor-sharp at any size, with proper optical sizing, even letter-spacing, and crisp brand navy. Their equity, kept; the low-res scan, retired.

on navyStrong Insurance Services vector rebuild — white on navy

Rationale

  • Keeps their equity. Long-time clients recognize this exact serif-italic lockup — we sharpen, not replace.
  • Scalable + print-ready. True vector outlines render crisp from favicon to building sign; no more pixelated scan.
  • Use it for: letterhead, email signatures, and anywhere continuity with the old mark matters during transition.

1 · Stone & CupolaRecommended

An ownable picture-mark: a gold cupola atop a hipped roof, set in a navy fieldstone tile. It nods at once to Erie's signature cupola and to Strong's own plateau-stone building with its low hipped roof — a real place, your local office, “your neighbors who've got you covered.” Pairs with the sharpened serif wordmark.

Erie co-brand option (Erie blue)
erie blue co-brand

Rationale

  • Double-rooted symbol. The cupola is Erie's icon AND a fixture of plateau architecture — the mark earns its meaning from who they are and where they are, not a stock shield.
  • Distinctive & trademarkable. A specific building silhouette is far more ownable than a generic umbrella/shield used by a thousand agencies.
  • Survives every size & color. Reads clean as a 16px favicon, a 1-color stamp, reversed on navy, and as an Erie-blue co-brand badge.
  • Warm, not corporate. Soft fieldstone tile + a little door says “a place, a home” — repels the cold insurtech feel by design.

2 · Keystone “S” Monogram

A modern monogram: a confident gold S set in a navy keystone whose flat top and tapered sides echo the plateau mesa. The keystone is the literal stone that holds an arch together — “the one you build on.” Compact, strong, and unmistakable as a single icon.

Rationale

  • Strength, made literal. A keystone is the part of an arch that bears the load — the perfect metaphor for the name “Strong.”
  • Most flexible icon. Smallest, boldest single mark — ideal for app tiles, social avatars, embroidery, and stamps.
  • Plateau geometry. The flat-top taper quietly references the mesa landscape without being a literal mountain cliché.

3 · Friendly Modern Wordmark

The most approachable route: lowercase “strong” in a warm humanist sans, with a small gabled roof over the “o” — a quiet home/neighbor cue. It dials up the “insurance friend” tagline and feels current without chasing a trend. Wordmark-only; no separate icon needed.

Rationale

  • Neighborly by design. Lowercase + a little roof = warm and human, leaning straight into “your insurance friend.”
  • Fewest moving parts. One wordmark does it all — easy to apply, hard to break, and reads instantly.
  • Modern, not trendy. Humanist sans keeps it current and friendly while staying credible for a serious purchase.
